This money-saving package combines a romantic Sunset Jeep Tour of the San Andreas Fault with a delicious fixed 3-course dinner at the popular Jackalope Ranch Restaurant in Indio, recently voted Best Barbeque in the Desert by readers of the Desert Sun. 

The jeep tour departs from the Jackalope Ranch parking lot about 2 hours before sunset and returns shortly after sunset.   A dinner reservation will be made for you for shortly after you are due back at Jackalope Ranch.

Advance reservations are required and are subject to availability.  

Note:  The departure time for the tour changes with sunset as we time the jeep tour so that you can be out at sunset to catch the most spectacular light.   Please call our office at 1-760-324-5337 prior to your tour to confirm the exact departure time.  As a general guideline, in October and the first week of November, tours depart about 4:00 PM.  When Daylight Savings Time ends on November 6th, 2011, the tour departure will move to between 2:30 - 3:45 PM.  When we go back on Daylight Savings Time on March 11th, 2012, the departure will move back to 4:30 - 5:30 PM.  From May - September, the tour departure will be 5:30 - 6:30 PM.

Tour Departure Location:

• The restaurant is located on the North side of Highway 111 between Shields Road and Jefferson Street. 

Departure:

• A reservation at Jackalope Ranch will be made for you immediately following your tour.  Please be sure to bring your tour voucher and present it to your waiter as payment for your dinner.

Things To Bring

• Wear closed-toe shoes with rubber soles (such as tennis shoes or hiking boots).  Sandals and shoes with high heels are not recommended.
• Wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers.
• Bring a hat and sunglasses.
• Don't forget your camera or video camera and make sure your batteries are charged up and you have plenty of film.

Please print out and bring your voucher with you and present it at Jackalope Ranch for your dinner.

Inclusions

Your Jeeping Jackalope Package includes a 2 Hour Naturalist Guided Sunset Jeep Tour of the San Andreas Fault and fixed 3-course dinner at Jackalope Ranch. Tax and tip are included, but beverages are additional.

Exclusions

Guide gratuity for the jeep tour is not included but is appreciated.

Beverages are not included with dinner.

Jackalope Ranch features an indoor saloon and outdoor palapa bar offer an extensive Tequila and wine list and the libation menu includes well-crafted Margaritas (made with fresh hand squeezed lime juice and organic agave nectar) and martinis, as well as several delicious non-alcoholic agua frescas (chilled blends of water or milk with fruit, flowers, or seeds) and licuados (little fruit smoothies).
